Nicole Edwards is a Registered Dietitian with over 23 years of experience in working with the nutritional needs of babies, toddlers, children and teenagers. Nicole obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics from the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg. She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), the Association for Dietetics in South Africa (ADSA), The Health & Care Professions Council in the UK (HCPC) and the Allergy Society of South Africa (ALLSA).

 

She has gained extensive experience in paediatric dietetics through clinical work, further study, research, lecturing and ongoing professional development. In addition to working in other paediatric departments Nicole enjoyed 6½ years of employment at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust in London where she gained specialist nutritional experience in many clinical conditions. Following this, Nicole consulted for two prominent GP practices in Hong Kong where she furthered her knowledge in more general areas of childhood nutrition and acquired extensive international exposure.

 

Nicole runs a busy Practice in Constantia, Cape Town, seeing individual clients and families and consulting for schools in the area. Nicole lives in Cape Town with her husband and 3 young, active boys.
